Alphonso ‘Fonce’ Mizell (1943 - 2011)

The Mizell Brothers,Larry and Alponso, are responsible for some of the most righteous jazz-funk recordings and productions, for artists including Donald Byrd, Gary Burtz , Johnny Hammond and Bobbi Humphrey among others.
Just imagine fender rhodes, spacey synths, flutes, funky rhythms, jazz changes,killer soulful vocals and you are in.The perfect blend for any jazz and funk listener.
Fonce Mizell passed away the morning, he was 68.RIP Man.
